i saw one later on that night, all alone in the house, having a ciggy by the back door, so got my dog to kill it and he shakes it on my foot, screamed so loud the neighbour next door came round to check i wasnt being murdered!

finished it off with some pine multipurpose cleaner thing but i need something less messy

Yeah, bit cruel to the ones who have a phobia. I'm alright with spiders and that still made me jump, when I went to the next page and seen that pop up.

I know. I wasn't impressed to say the least.

thatphoto is a fake by the way, and it was really nasty to post it here.

About thinks differently - warning; it's got the same photo again so if you are afraid of spiders....

Anyway, that's Iraq, here's some more realistic photos from the UK: http://www.paulturner.co.uk/stuff/2004_08_30_archive.html :p note to arachnaphobes: you probably don't want to look.

    Question though:

are people afraid of small fast speedy spiders that jump like fleas straight at you!! (well they don't really, but you know what i mean), or the big lumbering hairy ones with probing limbs? You know, the hair on a spider's body reacts to minute wind changes and they can feel movement and vibrations that way. The same system is on place in flies which is why if you ever try to hit one they normally fly away.

So long as it aint a scorpian... *shivers*
...and it can't kill me or give nasty bites. I don't mind any spiders really.

last year, my parents were on holiday. i was just going into my wardrobe to pick something to wear and saw a spider on the sleeve of one of my tops. my immediate reaction was to run away and get scared. my friend had txt me and i told her and she said to try the hoover so i did, but when i came back to get it it had gone. i was too scared to pick anything out of my wardrobe and had to go somewhere so 3 of my friends who were on their way somewhere came and searched through my wardrobe but to no avail. i ended up just having to be brave and shake my clothes loads before i even contemplated putting them on. bloody things. :impissed:

More spiders with illustrations more than photos and information on their venom & where they're from.

    or these...

to get 'em! Watch em pop 'n' fry! :D
I like the idea of the handy little brush that stores away neatly with the second one. Handy for cleaning toasted arachnid parts from your zapper. :D

They are a real breed of spider, but they dont get anywhere near that size. Its been superimposed.

My cousins got one. They do work. It makes them explode. I might get one for the ants that keep coming into my kitchen.

dont click if you dont want to see those spiders again.

So theyre not superimposed sorry, its just a case of the false perspective making them look bigger than they actually are. Theyre not exactly money spider sized, and theyre not exactly cute and cuddly, but they are harmless to humans.

I bought myself a couple of these two years ago and haven't seen a spider in my house for ages. They take a wee while to get going but are totally harmless and well worth the dollar.

    :)

Has no effect on cats, dogs or fish, but may affect pet rodents

So probably not a great idea if you have hamsters and stuff. We have a dog and he has no probs with them at all.

I didn't particulary like spiders but they don't scare me either if i find one i just chuck it outside. I would feel really guilty if i squashed one.

We was round my boyfriends house once and there was this HUGE house spider on his wall and my friend went and got a tissue, we thought she was going to put it out the window but she squashed it against the wall and this big blob of brown liquid just oozed out onto the tissue and the wall. It was grosse.

    They Might Be Real?!?

Ok, so I was just watching the news and they were doing this Real Or Fake thing.......needless to say - Our spiders were on there. The website says they are real.....check it out for yourself (again, it's going to show the same yucky pic, so if you didn't like it the first time - don't look now). There are also some other pics on there that I'm sure we've all seen before - you know like the dead mermaid - (I think there are 4 or 5 other pics before the spider pic)
