its true that no girl would believe if a bloke said he was on the pill. if a girl said that to a bloke and was lying, it doesnt really matter if he believes her or not, as its down to her in the end really. althoug hi guess she could be doing it to make her pregnant to keep him? sounds weird but ive heard stories (get bored during the day and have to watch trisha and ricki lake and stuff! hehe)..
in a stable relationship i think the male pill would be a better idea. although my boyfriend has a terrible memory and i dont think id trust him tot ake it at the same time every day! its bad enough me doing it, although if you do it often enugh you get so used to it you dont even have to think. iused to have set alarms on my phone to go off at the right time so id take it!! funny how you just get used to something and it beomes part of your routine.
so what does everyone else think abuot the male pill? no one's really had much to say so far, even when it was first posted!
Maybe if i was in a v v v serious relasionship but id still prefer to use somethin else as well, just incase.
Apart from all of the above issues, the other thing that would worry me (being a guy) would be "what the hell am I doing to my body"
I have never asked or expected any of my girlfriends to take the pill.
The idea of taking an asprin freaks me out, let alone a hormone shot!
Just stick to condoms and the cap etc.... much easier, healthier and less worry in the long run.

Personally if i met a guy on a nigh tout i would nt believe him if he told me he was on the pill.
but seriously... I dont think so.... no girl would ever believe u
I agree ... but it would still be selfish for you not to reduce the risk _they_ are taking for _you_ by taking it.
I think it was `95 that I first heard of a bloke tell someone he was on the pill. So no, I wouldn't be inclined to trust. <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/mad.gif">
But seriously, I'd take one if it were available, just for peace of mind. However, if I were a girl, I doubt whether I'd trust my partner as the consequences of forgetting would not be as serious for him as for me.

Welcome to TheSite Nigel, but could you try and not drag up posts that have not been added to for a year. As a general rule, if the thread isnt on the first page of the topic board, then its dead. Its not so bad on this topic, but it CAN get very annoying.

libido loss, weight gain, skin problems and the chance of developing 'big man tits'. Nice.
OK, i can understand the Man Boob thang, but the rest - only what women have had to endure since the Pill began. so they weren't worried about the Women, but they are about men - thats equality for you.
I say - Bring it on !!!
