Lump in my eye

Well it's actually in my eye lid near the tear duct. I had what was like a spot there the other day, the type you cannot squeeze, although I did try, and then that went and now I'm left with this stange longish lump that feels like a bit of gristle. It don't hurt and I can almost move it from side to side. Any ideas?

    Not sure, it's actually under my eye lid. no pain, redness or swelling.

    does anyone else always get told to rub gold on a sty? i know its gotta be unhygeinic but its always what my mum and nan tell me to do!

    My mum told me to do that when I have had one as well. Never done and not sure if it works. Best get some vream for it.

    At work, we tell people to bathe it with warm water, and maybe use some Golden Eye/Brolene ointment.
