'E' users

Ecstacy users, do you ever verbally call it E?

Me and a friend met a guy on Friday who was lecturing us about using ketamine and part of this was him saying "Yeah I've done coke, E, weed etc but that's all good this is fucking horse tranq." We both looked at each other and after we left him both didn't believe a word he'd said about his drug use. I wouldn't call ecstacy E verbally. For ease of typing I might, but not in conversation.

i knew some kids who thought the pills they had been taking were speed. when i asked if i could buy some Es off them they looked at me in horror and i was like err yeh what do you think you've been eating all this time!!

i've called them that for as long as i can remember...more people call them pills or beans but i've never thought it was that outside of popular usage.

What i've never heard is 'disco burgers' or 'hug drug' or 'lovvies'

to be fair though its a context thing...i would never ask someone i did not know for E's, but i might refer to them as such in the company of those i did know...weird

I've never met any actual ecstasy users who refer to the drug as E.

I think i call them E sometimes. But most of the time I just call them pills, it's that though that confuses the non ecstacy users because they just think 'pills of what?'

A mate used to walk around his house singing " yokes, yokes, yokes, yokes,yokes,yokes"...and if anyone asked him what's that you said " yo yo yo yo yo yo".

    Bit of a sham really.

    yokes

Good old Norn Iron terminology :thumb:

I've got all my mates in Edinburgh calling them yokes now as well.

I think everyone has their own terminology within groups as well. One of ours is 'Umbopalops'. Strange, can't remember how it started

'Umbopalops' the most fucked up name i've ever heard for yokes.

Walked into some southern man one night when we were out and about, started talking about "yips"....another wierd one.

Most people I know refer to ecstasy as E sometimes. But then we're all old and have been doing so since the late 80's/early 90's.

That's quite a popular term around here.
Along with gurners, little things, beans, millers but mostly it's just plain old pills.
