Right me&my boyf of ages, the other day decided to try sex without a condom, it was amazing and so much better! BUT my periods has just that day stopped, but for 3days we done it without one! I heard you dont reliase another egg till atleast a week after your period! So should i be worried or what? Should i get out just incase? I asked my boyfriend about it he just wants me to do what i feel is right but if i am im only 16 i dont want a baby ruining my life, but i dont know about abortion! Is that wrong? Anyway let me know what you's think!

Why didnt you go no the pill before you stopped using condoms?
Forget what you may have "heard" about eggs not being released, there is always a chance.
I would say take a morning after pill but its a bit late for that now, get checked out and then go on the regular pill, or stay on condoms.

i can only reinforce what Ww said - get checked out and then go on the pill if u want to keep going bareback.

as for abortion, it's a personal opinion. personally i think it is acceptable but depending. others, i know, agree very strongly.

hope this helps.

Look into these tired eyes. See something you might recognise.

if youre going to take the morning after pill it has to be 72 hrs after you had unprotected sex. what you have heard about it being safe to have unprotected sex safely after your period is wrong, you should never rely on the time of the month for contraception! this is called the rhythm method, and it isnt even accurate when you go round taking your temperature every day and testing the mucus produced by your cervix to estimate when you've ovulated.

up to 5 days after youve had unprotected sex you can have an IUD fitted, which can be painful for women who have not already given birth.

if you and your bf are going to have sex without a condom again (from your descriptions of it it sounds like you might) then you MUST go and see your doctor or go to a family planning clinic about other forms of contraception, such as the pill, or injections (depo provera) or whatever.

you cant be accurately tested for pregnancy with the test kits you buy in boots until the day of your period. if you're late, then invest in one of these kits, or go to the doctors for a pregnancy test then.

if it turns out you are pregnant, your options will be discussed with you, whether you want to keep the baby, carru it to term and have it adopted, or whether you want to have an abortion.

no one else can tell you which is the right thing to do. some people disagree with abortion on moral grounds, believing it to be ending a life, which only god should do. i personally believe in the woman's right to choose, and so does the governmnent, so if you want to have an abortion (assuming you will become pregnant, which is by no means certain at all), then you would be able to, if this was what you wanted.

hope i havent scared you too much or anything, i just wanted to provide you with the facts. good luck though, hope you dont become pregnant because this clearly isnt what you want! <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif">

I think abortion in ok in certain circumstances but I dont really like it when girls use it as a form of contraception. I think that u need to get on the pill before u get pregnant, u r clearly sure that u dont want a baby at 16 so be sure to use something next time <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif">

there is a chance u could be pregnant. a pregnancy test will not show positive until 2 weeks after conception so even iy could be negative for up to 2 weeks after your period was due even though u may be pregnant.

Be careful!!

Don't use the 'rhythm method', there really is no simple way to guess a 'safe time' to have unprotected sex if you're trying to avoid a pregnancy. There are plenty of contraceptive options available, so choose one: http://www.thesite.org/sex/pregnancy/contraception_overview.html

Most modern pregnancy tests are accurate from the first day of a missed period, but if you need to find out more, look here: http://www.thesite.org/sex/pregnancy/so_you_think_youre_pregnant.html

They are if you follow them to the letter, but it's easy to get it slightly wrong, in which case it may come up falsely negative (very unlikely to be falsely positive though).

It's a lot easier to just get it checked out by a doctor, because if a home test came up positive you'd have to go anyway (therefore you'd save about £7 - the price of a home kit), and also you'll know for sure that it's negative.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do, and I hope everything turns out all right <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif">

Just wanna add to this that even though u can have a false negative u can never have a false positive. I descovered this after doing about 3 pregnancy tests...wat a waste of bloody money!!
