    i downloaded a couple of albums ages ago but it all came out as one song and i didnt like it... but now i download singles (illegally) im trying to download Kaiser Chiefs - Oh My God but its buggered

    Not much they could do really though. Except get in touch with thesite and ask em to give them your IP. Then they'd have to get in touch with your internet service provider and get your details off you. ;p

    Even then they couldn't do anything. Downloading isn't illegal, uploading is.

    thesite.org would be under no obligation to pass on the IP addresses, and even if they did, the ISP would not give away the details on the premise that they have no evidence that you have actually downloaded anything

    and as for the downloading is legal, its the uploading thats the problem, its not the case, both are illegal, its just easier to go after the mass uploaders
