    Or here's something really radical..

    ...the music business

yeah but the music business is huge....i thinking of job options within the music industry, yeah i'd love to just get given a contract, but thats not very likely to happen.

I was just wondering what exactly i'd be qualifyed to do.

I know, I was just being facetous.

Why not look into producing or sound engineer work, being a session player (if you don't want to put your name to anything) - why not start contacting studios (TV and music/radio) to get some work expereince?

sound engineering is REALLY competitive atm.

i imagine you'd needs loads of work experience (mostly upaid) and/or a degree/HND/industry qualification in a related subject to be on an evil keel with the rest of the peeps.

another idea is starting off as a tea girl, and worming your way up.

I would usually advocate working your way up, but I like this idea too ... :p

worming is the perfect word for it ;)

depending what kind of work you do though, it's not that showbiz. they work their butts off, long, antisocial hours, live out of suitcases a lot.

i don't know about studio work though....
