  Strictly speaking the UDA didn't kill anyone - its military wing the UFF did the killings. The UDA was similar to to the relation Sinn Fein has with the IRA (some SF are members of the IRA, especially in senior ranks, some members are just on the political side - all benefit politically from the IRA murders). Now I'm not against banning the UDA, but its a bit hypocritical to ban them and not doing anything about Sinn Fein and its relationship with the Provos.
