Anyone know anything thats good to help stop my sinuses hurting? its only one side of my face. I don't wnt to take any more painkillers.

    sudafed, medicine wise.

    other than that, inhaling steam is great for relieving sinus pain.

    Is that a pain killer? My brain seems to have gone all odd on me.
    Yeah done the stream with vick it helps a bit but not much.

    nah, it's a decongestant. doesn't have a spectacular effect, but it's usually enough to make you more comfy.

    Try applying alternating hot and cold compresses, that can often help to get the mucous moving out of the sinus. A flannel would do.

    olbas oil is good. or mint perhaps. drop some into a bowl of hot water and do a steam inhalation

    Yep. or a cooling gel patch on your eyes, or something to put pressure onto the sinuses. like if you wear glasses, pack tissue between eye and glasses. I know that sounds strange, but like.pressure alleviates painful pressure? maybe :S

    I keep getting colds at the moment and have personally found that sudaffed is excellent, i have from a very yound age had ear trouble so i find that sudaffed prevents ear blockage if that makes sense?

    the eustacian tube is emptied easier and it gives you a feeling of relaxation and takes the weight of your ears and nose.

    have i made sense at all?
