perhaps you should have asked your doctor those questions? maybe pop to the chemist and ask them.
other than that i haven't got a clue.

didn't your doctor give you a name for what you have got? then perhaps you could google it.

When you visited the doctor to get some cream didn't they bother to tell you what it is you have? Or didn't you bother to ask them what you can do to help it clear more quickly?

I would suggest you keep the wounds clean and change the dressing regularly in sterile conditions.

    Apply the cream as directed.

the doctor just said i had a skin infection, and told me the use the cream once in the morning and once at night. i didn't really have time to ask him much because he was called in from his lunch break.....i wanted to ask him a load of things about something else but i was kinda ushered out of the surgery.....:S

Did you have an appointment? Make one. if you have a lot to talk about, make a double appointment.

that doesn't happen here. you don't have appointments you just go during open hours and i can't talk to my doctor. and GP's here will only do very (and i mean very) minor things, you have to go to a specialist for anything. though getting hold of a specialist is hard enough. :crying:

    Double appointments rarely exist. :p

i have had very little luck with the health care system out here. in fact i even have bupa insurance and it still stinks. i'm thinking about coming back to the uk and going to bupa in the uk to get myself sorted.
