Most of the girls were in their 20's and very hot!!!

It's actally a very god place to go if you're a good skater cos you can help the new ones to skating and it's a bit fun cos if you see someone you like you can just crash into them!!! .. beats most chatup lines!!

OK so if I want to learn to skate on wheels, what's easier?

Learning on a set of inline skates or the traditional 4 wheelers?

The venue only hired out 4 wheel skates (Quads) so that's what we used, most of the people that owned their own skates had inline ones. Some of the experience people were doing amazing things on both kind of skates.

I'm assuming with the inline skates there's less chance of falling backwards??

i would say that the majority of people find inline skates a lot easier to skate in. its also generaly its a lot quicker to learn on inline skates as your feet dont seem to get to far infront of you and like you described you fall over backwards

Last time I went ice skating I got in an accident with a girl I knew and she broke her knee joint and was in pain/cast for about 6 months.

Yeah it's that falling backwards thing that scares me and I assume it's easier to stop with inline skates.

So any recommendations on buying a pair?
