Okay so im writing my analysis on a piece of art work (composition IV if that makes this any easier) And im just wondering what key words there are to use in it.....the type of words that make me look as if i know what im talking about. Ty for any replies x

    its on composition IV by wassily kandinsky, and ive just got to do a 1500 word analysis on it!

    Well, it's not like you said that. I mean really, WTF is composition IV when you don't say who it's by...

    Having a look now, it's got v bold brush strokes, really strong thick black lines, and really intense colours, like vividly bright. Erm, and the colours aren't real, as such, it's a bit abstracted.

    I dunno whether that's what you're after, but you havn't been terribly clear.

    lol im almost done now, sorry i wasnt clear, i was just looking for some media studyish words to add in, theres only so much i can say about the colours and abstractness :(

    composition, connotations, atmosphere (evoke), influences, structure...

    rich, stark, bold, provocative, contrasting, complimentary...

    and thesaurus.com is awsome if you've already used a word but want to use it again...

    just look at some of the language used to describe imagery
