Is it about the hardware appliance? Cuz I'm not going just to see people being sawed in half.
Ooh no, it's quite sadistic. One of those films where you shout "don't go in there, FOOL!" and get told to shut up for getting too excited.
Not so good when the person I'm sat with decides to grab my arm at a really scary bit and scare the shit outta me. Or throw a piece of popcorn on my head to the same effect.
There is a hardware appliance in it, yes.
What happened to the days when films didn't need to show you violence or demented killers to scare you shitless? Think about the Exorcist. You don't see anyone having body parts lopped off or being stabbed by someone hiding behind a tree do you? Yet people died whilst watching it.
Yes, it did.
only u
Leave it out.
That movie was horrific, I watched everyones face when the hardware appliance was used and they all looked horrified. Also, that little dummy, when it laughs, it's put me off those little ribena berry teddy bears forever.
 WAAARRRGGGHHH!!
It's one of those stupid occasions where you half hide behind something but you're still watching.
What happened to deep psychological thrillers....
 Throughout most of the film!
It's not a slasher movie.
What is it then? Seems like pointless gratuitous violence to me...
You need to watch some of the hannibal films. Any of them will do.
They are not pointless gratuitous violence though.... I've watched and read all three thanks. I find them fascinating.
Watch a film called Seven. Along the same lines (Genre, not storyline)
Intelligent murder? Like Messiah?
THE PURPOSE OF THE THREAD IS TO OOH AND AHH AT THEIR SCARY WEBSITE!! Not one of you has agreed with me.
The film was good, aye. Not Slashery, more psychological than anything. Questions how far you'd go to stay alive in the given situations in the film.
it is a good website.
Have some pie. Well, cake.
:birthday:
ETA - If you took the candle away, it looks like a pie. Mincemeat at that
Mincemeat is rubbish. Gotta be chunks of animal. preferably cow.
Thanks though.
