I'm planning on moving to Norway in January :hyper:

I've got friends over there, who I met when I was living in Spain that I'll be staying with at first. They live in Bergen, and its cool to stay with them while I get myself a place sorted.

Can any of you guys tell me about the place? Anybody been in Norway before?

I've heard its really really expensive..
(like £5 a pint!!!)

Norway is the most beautiful of the Scandinavian countries. And especially Bergen. But apart from that I don't see the appeal.
Very serene in places, but at the same time if you walk around Oslo there is just nothing to do. A bit boring for living everyday life. On vacations when fresh air and calmness is needed then it is great.

And yes, it is damn expensive. Be prepared to pay at least £1-2 for a cucumber. That said, the wages match the prices.
