I did crap... passed, but really unhappy with the grades.

Do you need to pay for re-sits?

Im haappppppyyy! I never thought I'd get any B's, let alone A's! I knew I'd get D's in science, 'cause I haven't learnt anything since year 9 - I pissed about for 2 years. Stats was an extra 'cause I took maths early, so I'm not disappointed with that ;cause it was hard, and it's not like I've lost out. And R.E...Who gives a fuck, it only counts as half anyway!

    I got AAAAA's and BBBB's! :hyper:

Well done those who've posted :thumb:

Nobody is 'supposed' to get anything. Fine, let the teacher look into the mark but that kind of attitude really pisses me off.

Depends on the school. All exams have to be paid for but the school pays first time round. Most of the time they won't pay for re-sits so you have to do it yourself.

Tbh, if you're doing A Levels there's naff all point resitting your GCSEs because a lot of unis won't pay much attention to them as long as you passed the core subjects.

I feel sooo much happier now! so relieved!:D

ETA: did anyone get the actual marks (like 50/60) on the papers??? I only got one and that was for RE, so I only know the grades I got but not the actual scores in the others.

Ah, it's just I need 5A* and 5A to get a scholarship into this private school... and I'm a bit far off that, much to my dissapointment after the school told me for months I'm bound to get A*s and As, and I only got 1 A*and 3As, which I know is good, but not good enough... i'd have been fine resitting 1 or 2 to get the right grades, but now I'm gonna resit most of them :( I feel so fucking thick.

erm, off topic kind of, but is there much point in going to sixth form if I'm not going to uni, and I'm going to college afterwards anyway... I'm planning on becoming a primary school teacher or horseriding instructor.

Well done! Makes me wonder why your teachers put you in for so many foundation papers though when you were clearly borderline for most of them...

My GCSE's from a few years ago now:

    3 A's, 2 B's, 4 D's and an E.

Not bad to say I was predicted C's and D's.
