Day Off

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
I only work 27 hours a week and Wednesday is my day off. I'm supposed to do uni work but I can never motivate myself.

I usually end up shopping or spend the whole day online.

How does everyone else spend their days off?

I've got this two weeks 'intensive' teaching lark at college. I've dropped a subject, so I only have one lesson on a Wednesday for the two weeks.

I went in at 10.50 to do a presentation for English, and was finished by 11.15. :thumb:

So this afternoon, I will be mostly doing... nothing. :D

Sleep in most mornings. Come on the net for a bit. Have brunch. Do anything in the house mum has asked me to do. Hide when my physco stalker ex turns up at the house banging on the door. Get dressed (need to do that in a min). Watch some cartoons. Go out when my mum comes home. Interesting.

    I currently have 5 days off a week. :|

And it's looking to stay that way until September '05. :|

I don't like being lazy much.

I have way to much spare time on my hands. I hate not doing anything (Unless I'm really tired/hungover). I need stimulation :hyper:

Perhaps you could get a hobby for those days if they are the same day each week?

Or you could just veg out with a book :D.

I've never had a job so I've never had "day's off" so to speak. But I have a job interview tomorrow. If I get the job then it's 37 hours a week. I don't see how I'll fit everything into my days! They're hectic enough as it is! I'd probably spend most of my time of sorting out my flat, as I'm about to return there.

Nine week summer holidays start on Friday at 12.05. It's ever so exciting until the third week when I realise how boring and empty my life is.
