kaff's quick guide to income tax:

the first £4745 of your income is tax free. the next £2020 on top of that will be taxed at the 10% starting rate. then everything else will be taxed at the 22% basic rate, unless you are earning more than £31,400 a year (not including your tax-free £4745) in which case all earnings over £31,400 will be taxed at the 40% higher rate.

I've learnt that whilst you shouldn't give up, not everyone can be helped. Sometimes people just are who they are and will never change. I've also learnt that life is far too short to worry too much, I got over a lot of my shyness thanks to Franki :), I've also learnt that some things are inevitable and will / won't hapen no matter what, and although some things you can control, sometimes it's too much time and effort, and in the end the result is often not all it's cracked up to be.

Anyway, learnt lots more, but that's the main bits I reckon :chin:

I know that if you keep pushing, even those who can't live without you, will live without you

I know that society needs something, anything to stop it imploding

I know that no matter how hard they try, McDonald's will NEVER be healthy

I know that London is dauntingly scary when you live here alone

    I know there's nowhere I'd rather live

I know that you should appreciate it when someone who loves you notices you walk into a room, because it's excrutiating when they don't

I know that the pound is worth almost 2 US dollars. Go sterling!!

ive found out that however much you give and love someone, that they can still leave you heart broken and make you hurt by thinking about them....but they say they still love you so you hold on to that so much it kills you.

I also know that talking to Ex's is a bad idea, and dancing with them is a worse one!!

And i know how to do Nail Art, and i didnt think i'd be as well in health as i am now...!

Where's Ponders End? Is that in Enfield cos I saw a documentary on TV saying they were going to turn an mexican place into a Krispy Kreme.

I only tried them once and that was from a Petrol Station in Toronto where they sell them in boxes.

I thought they were good but not exceptional. I think you probabaly had them fresh off the production line so they must have tasted wicked if they bake them in-store.
