Economic help

does anyone know which policy (monetary or fiscal) would be more suitable in tackling unemployement and inflation problems?

I really need help.

    I would have know the answer to this one if you'd asked me three years ago. But I forgot everything I knew about economics pretty much as soon as I'd finished the exams!

    In terms of attempting to lower unemployment, demand-side policies would be expansionary fiscal policy (decrease in income tax and taxes in general, increase in government expenditure) and expansionary monetary policy (decrease in interest rates).

    I have no idea what you mean by AS or A2 is. What is it? I am doing economics as part of my HNC/HND cource at college.

    I know it is also a boring subject, it's hard to keep your mind on economics in class.
