more advice on careers pls!

hey. more help needed again.
Ive decided to take a gap year this year in an attempt to have a break from education and get some work experience. i want to work with reptiles and amphibians - but not sure where to start! im going to write to local places which deal with these animals, but not sure what else i can do - any advice please?

    You know you really should speak to your college careers advisor or your local connexions

    As for working with reptiles/ amphibians ... how about
    pet shops
    reptile house of a zoos
    marine biology study centre
    Aquariums
    the natural history museum or similar
    BBC/ Discovery documentary teams
    Endangered turtle etc. work abroad (Earth watch)

    etc.

    Also www.gapyear.com also have good ideas and information

    thanx for ur advice. after speaking to connexions and my college tutor, i have a list of the organisations/place im going to write to. im taking this gap yeay+going to uni next year, and have chosen about 2 or 3 courses id like to do - now ive just gotta decide+get some work exp!! :)
