Is anyone going to the V festival in August?

I'm going to Weston Park (Staffs)

THE STROKES - DIDO - MUSE - PIXIES - KINGS OF LEON - MASSIVE ATTACK - N.E.R.D - PRIMAL SCREAM - PINK - THE THRILLS - ATHLETE - BADLY DRAWN BOY - FAITHLESS - JET - SNOW PATROL - KEANE - JAMIE CULLUM - JAMELIA

Are all confirmed and more to follow :cool:

    backstage passes to chelmsford hopefull all depends if my sister sorts it out:D if not I'm camping:)

    i got a backstage pass last year for weston,
    and thats all you get....you still have to camp
    out with everyone else, unless you get a
    room in the local village.

    The only good thing about the pass is you
    can buy beer with cash instead of buying
    loads of tokens you end up not using and
    the toilets are clean (er) :-)

    You dont get to see any of the bands only
    reporters, photographers and mates of
    folks working there, the bands have there
    own VIP tent and area :-(

    I did meet Tim from ash who came front
    stage to see the hives and a few djs though.

    Also, they don't release the 'free' tickets till
    june and by then the tickets have normally
    sold out, we bought 3, got the 3 free ones,
    and ended up selling them to mates for £25
    each, a loss of about £150 :-(

    Well I live near chelsmford.. Way near so I might camp or not..

    I'd love back stage passes though.. they'd kick ass....

    v doesn't look as good as last years, wiv chili's on etc. i think leeds reading looks ace from wat some1 told me the other day, whos playing at that? I heard green day and offspring, who else?

    except 50 cent, hes a weird mouthed dik, hopefully one of them gangsta singing guys who reckon they're dead hard will come and shoot him while hes attempting to make music
