Organic chemistry lectures straight after lunch when the boringest lecturer (naming no names!) talks in his boring monotone voice about molecule conformations.

But as for making yourself sleepy when you actually WANT to sleep I'm like the worst person to ask right now. Hence I'm up and online at 2.30 and writing this.

Probably already in bed, but just for a suggestion and maybe a back up plan for next time.

Maybe try like sitting in bed and reading a book. Sometimes helps me to sleep or get sleepy.

    or

Maybe try like putting a soft, soathing cd or something in your cd player or something and have the volume low and lie bed and maybe that could help to soathe you into sleep.

Ok, enough rambling. Just two ideas/suggestions that I have tried and may work, but hasn't always worked for me, but for the most part, yes.

    half a sleeping pill.

Its probably only your body clock wanting to go to sleep at the same time as it did before the clocks went forward. remember 20 past two is only 2o past one really. Just try going to bed 20 mins earlier for a few nights and your body will eventually start falling asleep at that time, then you can go 20 mins earlier than that etc, again and again.
