Now that I've finally been paid this month, I'm planning a little shopping spree to build up my CD collection. So far on the list are:
* Maroon 5 - Songs About Jane
* Joss Stone - Soul Sessions
* Lemar - Dedicated
* Fefe Dobson - Fefe Dobson (she was Justin Timberlake's support when I saw him in Birmingham in January)
* Jamelia - Thank You
Anyone got any opinions on these or any recommendations along the same lines? What has everyone been buying lately?

Athlete - El Salvador and Travis - 12 Memories are both quite good CDs, dunno if you're into that sorta thing though.
Both of these are very good :yes:
oh sarah dear when will you learn?!
Have you listened to them?
so
*grumble*
I think the Lemar album is quite good ( well what I have heard of it) apart from the ballads- Another Day and one of the other tracks.
I never understand this phrase - good taste. It is just an opinion.
Better?:p
Yes.
But think about it. I probably hate your favourite band. Doesn't mean it isn't good.
When will people learn to let people have their own opinions on what they want to listen to, and just sit back, listen to their own crap and shut up :rolleyes:
None taken, but then I probably wouldn't like the crap you're into, either!
I bought The Soul Sessions, Dedicated and Songs About Jane yesterday.. all seem pretty good, but I'm kinda hooked on Maroon 5 at the minute so have only listened to the others in parts...
And, piccolo, I already have Katie Melua - Call Off The Search, hence wanting The Soul Sessions
The Athlete album is actually called Vehicles and Animals (I think).
But buy it anyway
De La Soul - 3 Feet High & Rising
