Can anyone tell me about this? I received an offer for the 'Art and Design Direction' course following a succesful portfolio interview and, although the place wasn't very nice, I hear it's got quite a good reputation? Or am I completely wrong?

    Hiya,
Some of my mates went to Manchester Met to do various art courses and a) they all enjoyed themselves immensly and b) the art school there has a brilliant reputation in the region. I nearly went there myself...

Edited to say: I didn't do art in the end, that's why I didn't go!

Cheers guys! This is really reassuring. Studying in Manchester would be a DREAM but the only campus offering the course was the Met, I've heard so many horror stories about employers refusing to interview students with their degree.

Did your mates get good jobs afterwards, ClaireBear?
