My bottom right one began to come through a couple of weeks ago. It's kinda half through now, and food keeps getting stuck in it :/

Unfortunately I still have another three (and a half) to go.

I had to have the top two out because there wasnt room to let the bottom two grow! It was agony as they were coming through because there just wasnt the space. I just had them out like any other tooth, under local anaesthetic, although ive known people whove left it too long, theyve become compacted and then theyve had to go into hospital to get it done under general anaesthetic - much worse.

What are you talking about? Teething? :nervous:

Why have I never experience this? Right, so, how many teeth (including these wisdom teeth) are you meant to have on the top row?

Four more teeth come through when a person is between about 17 and 22, and if the mouth is already full of teeth then it hurts like buggery.

You're probably not old enough to feel it. One of mine is atarting to come through now, but it doesn't hurt (yet).

even if there's enough room for them, it still hurts like hell :(

Can the process start at any point during 17 - 22? I'm 18 and I haven't experienced anything like that yet, really doesn't sound that pleasant though.. :nervous:

Well, had one grow in on the top left, but luckily I had that one pulled out and such last April, but now I'm getting the one, growing in, on the top right and hurts like hell.

Well, they both actually hurt like hell when they were growing in, but good thing that the other one is out now.

Would suggest what the others have mentioned before me. :)

I can't remember them hurting. In fact, I only seem to have one of them. It's sort of half in, half out, of the gums at the back, so food gets stuck in it all the time. Unless I make sure I clean it morning and night, and use mouthwash, then food/plaque can get in there and irritate it, which is bloody sore. Luckily that only happens a handful of times a year (even when I am cleaning it thoroughly).
