Applying route A and route B

I sent off my UCAS form earlier this month and received my acknowledgement slip soon after. However, having applied both route A and B, I haven't received any news from route A yet - even though the deadline finished some bit ago.
I'm unsure of the situation - do UCAS wait until all deadlines have closed before giving offers?

If thats so, then UCAS sends your route A application to each uni you applied to and then they condiser you and reply, so it can take quite a while.
If you dont hear from them in a while try ringing the help line or the places you appiled to check on your application.
