22 Dec 2003 Metallica have confirmed that they will be playing next year's Download Festival. And not only that, Download will take place at Castle Donington AND Glasgow!
The announcement came at the end of Metallica's Earl's Court show this past Friday (19th December).
According to Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich, the Glasgow date is 2nd June and the Donington date is 6th June.
