I have no idea...although with notable exceptions it's usually people with some sort of problem. I've had compulsive liars, "tourettes" (I never EVER saw an example of this, EVER) and OCD, inferiority complex...

I seem to attract people that I don't fancy, don't tell me they like me, guys that are unavailable so would never go there and lots of girls for some reason (which isn't much use as I'm straight).

Thats not good, try being with an austitic, alcoholic, gambler. In one person. Who accused me of lying and did nothing but talk utter bullshit to me. Some "problems" can be easily dealt/coped with, some make you want to kill the pther person.

I always seem to attract really fucking boring girls who don't know how to go out and have a good time which is completely the opposite of me. They also seem to always want to change me to be like them, a boring, sad, straight-edge fuck.
    It just aint happening. lol

Do you think the type of person you attract says a lot about you?

Not so much the type of peron you go out with, but the ones who show interest in you.

    I hope not!

I tend to attract girls who think I'm nice (I'm really not, I'm just accomodating). And anyone who wants a boyfriend who's nice tends to be really dull and think that their personal problems are the most important thing in the world, and I'm the perfect person to talk to about them. Which usually means from the second date onwards, they're 'opening up' to me, and they get dumped soon after that.

The girls I'm most attracted to are the shy, quiet types, but I also reckon they're the type of girls I'm least compatible with, because I'm pretty chilled out myself, so I usually have to force the conversation somewhat. The girls I tend to connect with most are ditsy, girly types, who're really outgoing and chatty. So this is the type I'm going for in future I think.

i always attract girls who like the irish accent. sometimes they become annoying when they start asking you to say stuff like "mirror" and "eight". wtf? and then they'll giggle uncontrolably when you say it. i'll humour them if i'm interested.

I tend to attract slightly younger slightly insecure types. Usually they make caring friends / girlfriends, but occasionally the insecurity can bite you in the backside when they need 'reassurance' from someone else, too.

But by usually, I mean, two or three times? I have quite a 'nice' attitude, not always a credit, but I think I'm in the 'sweet' pile. I've never been called sexy, except by my girlfriend. But there's quite a few girls who go for the sweet guy I guess, they like to think it'll be wonderful and he's lovely and he'll buy you a rose every day you've been together.

 Not going to happen I'm afraid :p I think the attraction soon wears off when they find out I spend a lot of my time looking at porn (which consists of computers and bikes, not women).

I was mulling over this the other night with my boss from the pub. I tend to attract the sarcastic geek sort (nb this is no slight to anyone just the best way for me to describe them). They tend to be intelligent lads who seem to not be able to socially interact without having "indepth" arguments with people or people just don't seem to understand their conversations. We've come to the conclusion it's because i'll sit down with anyone in the pub, have a conversation and listen about whatever and i think they tend to lose their shyness and feel comfortable talking to me. I don't think, looking at the lads i'm on about, that they get this a lot as most of the people i know dismiss them as geeks and ignore them. I don't ignore people as i find people quite interesting. The problem is more often than not the boundaries between friendship and romance get blurred and i have to say no it's just a friendship.
Other than this the only other blokes that seem to be attracted to me are older married ones

I seem to go through phases of having quite emotional girls being attracted to me, in the sense that they’re into the whole romance and togetherness thing and I’ve got a bit of that about me too. Before long they say the love me and I’m amazing, but then most of the time it turns out to be puppy love.

Other than that I don’t really know. Sometimes if I’ve been pals with a girl at work or from somewhere else, they’ll message me later saying they always thought the world of me and never wanted to say it, but again maybe they’re just being nice? I’m a bit naïve to the whole thing really and I don’t really realise somebody likes me till it’s well obvious, haha.

Cheers for the replies guys, the reason I'm asking is the women I tend to attract are always overweight (not that there's anything wrong in that), nice-but-dim and usually very....erm....council estate-esque. Was just wondering if there's something in me which makes people like want to make a beeline for me
