Anyone know the IRC?

I feel like a 'net dunce, because I never knew about this thing called IRC (internet relay chat). It's absolutely the best thing for when you're flying high and need to chat chat chat but you have not a soul in your flat or available by phone. I've looked high and low, and I can't seem to find a channel on a server where the topic of the day is charlie or enjoyable substances in general? Anyone point me in the direction of a good server and channels? Many thanks! }}MadMonk{{
