I'm looking for some decent hip hop or dance tunes that have got like old songs running through, or like techno/trance/hip hop remixes of old songs.

I've got mosta the obvious one, it's more obscure shit I'm looking for.

An example would be that Nas tune that has the bass line from Inna Godda Davita in it and it sounds fucking awesome :thumb:

Beats International - Dub Be Good To Me. Bassline nicked from The Clash - Guns of Brixton.

Rebel MC - Tribal Bass. Versioning of Barrington Levy - Here I Come.

That's an awsome track. Congo Natty also included Barrington Levy's 'Under Mi Sensi' in one of his jungle tracks - you know what that's called? It's good too.

Other D&B and Jungle tracks you might want to check out include...

Aphrodite - 'Jungle Brother' (may also be listed under 'True Blue')
Aphrodite - 'I got Five On It'
    Aphrodite - 'No Diggity'
    SS - 'Lighter'
    Aphrodite - 'Man Of Steel'
    Aphrodite - 'Summer Breeze'

There's a large number of old skool hardcore tracks too, that include remixes of old tracks - some aint too bad. :D

    Try ...
Orca - 4AM (original by Beverly Craven - 'Promise Me')
The Fat Controller - 'In Complete Darkness' (original by Janet Jackson - 'Interlude Living In Complete Darkness')]
Rave Is A Mystery (original by Madonna - 'Like A Prayer')
Supreme & UFO - 'Forever Autumn' (original Jeff Wayne - Forever Autumn)

You say you've got most of the obvious ones? well, what are the obvious ones?
Pretty much every track featuring the diplomats has a sample of an old song in there, same goes with kanye..in fact, pretty much any artist signed to rockafella (even though the diplomats technically arent anymore)

By obvious I meant commercial, stuff like Kanye (as you were saying).
