i remeber that fateful day when wispas and caramel bars disappeared forever to become dairy milk with bubbles / caramel

My life has never really been the same.

    Wispas were ace :(.

All those "Dairy Milk with..." things don't taste nearly as good as the originals :(.

    really?

remember the wrapping was alot different, I guess when the mars came out they had to change it. (in reference to the milky way, least thats what happened in the US.)

We always had both over here. The old wrappers on the old milky ways were just darker - more blue on them. The insides used to be brown like in Flyte bars. They were great. Nowhere near as nice now.

Hmmm, I reckon I was in first or second year at High school so early 1990s maybe? I was very disappointed. It ruined my teenage years.

  • Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
Im sure it was called a secret bar or something like that, it was a hollow chocolate filling with whipped cream inside (I cant remember too well because it was a long time ago)

    So I'm not imagining it!

Everytime I talk about the (Nestle?) Secret bars we used to eat as kids, noone else in my family remembers them!

    They looked like shredded wheat!

I used to love wispas. Ans opal fruits will also be opal fruits. You cant get black jacks/fruit salads and a lot of penny sweets so much these days.
