I'm having an impacted wisdom tooth out on thursday under local anaesthetic and i'm absolutly petrified! Never had any surgery or dental work before, and being a student nurse you'd think i'd know better than to worry about it! Anyone had this procedure done before? Your stories and experiences would be appreciated. thanks x

If you like listening to music type your ipod/mp3player/walkman along, they may well let you listen to it.
See if you can get someone else to give you a lift home, just takes the pressure off.
