    *groan*

I just bought myself a licence for ultimate. This is your fault CoolMe. You arse!

At least I bought a tv card with it. This means I have to get a TV licence tho. But since I'll only use TV in Leicester (there is no aerial in York, lol) then I should be ok. Hopefully.

/me is downloading ubuntu @ 812KB/s and has downloaded 125mb in about the time it took to write this post. vmware ftw. shame I don't know how to use it though.

£120. But then I bought a mousepad with a usb hub in it for £7. Then I bought a hauppage digital tv receiver card for £30. So more money than I should have spent really.

But at the end of the day, I can quite easily afford it :(

Microsoft has admitted that speech recognition features in Vista could be hijacked so that a PC tells itself to delete files or folders.

That's a problem with speech recognition in general though, not Vista.

    I don't need to change, so I won't.

And as I said originally, I have ran the advisor and my laptop is currently not compatible.

A positive one? What's positive about Vista? There is absolutely no revolutionary features in Vista what so ever. It contains nothing I cannot already do on XP and it's rull of restrictions.

I think this benchmark test shows why you should stick to XP - http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/2007/01/30/xp-vs-vista-uk/

Flip through your applactions quickly and easy with Windows Areo - Don't you want the real deal instead of those XP Themes!

Its much better then it was in the beta testing! So jump on the bus and join windows vista:heart:
If that dont work ill hold a gun to your head;)
