What are your essential TV series DVD boxsets? Personally, I can think of tonnes I want to get hold of.
I have: Shameless Series 1, Family Guy Season 1 and 4, Red Dwarf 1-4, All of Friends on Video
I want: The rest of Shameless and Family Guy, Brass Eye, The Day Today, The Office, This Life, The OC, 24, Twin Peaks (all of it, since they only decided to release the first half on DVD for some reason), The Kingdom (Lars von Trier - don't think it exists on DVD yet), Heimat (if it wasn't £52), and I wouldn't mind checking out The West Wing and The Sopranos because I've seen the odd episode and loved them, but never watched them all the way through.
What DVD boxsets does everyone else want?

Waiting for the next King of the Hill season to come out, think it's in the next couple of weeks actually.
Blackadder
Deadwood
Upstairs Downstairs
Rescue Me
Futurama
Family Guy
American Dad
Elizabeth R
I Claudius
Beavis and Butthead
Metalocalypse
Probably Lost when it's all over too.
Action, romance, drama, violence, love, humour, sex, coolness, great writing, intelligence, top notch acting and never a dull moment....
Angel Season 5
Would like to start collecting House boxsets and the rest of Scrubs. And PowerPuff Girls.
EDIT: How could I forget? I also have complete Friends.
Friends (Everyone loves Friends!)
Band of Brothers (The most awesome TV series ever made -put's all hollywood war movies to shame)
Sharpe (Don't laugh it was brilliant!)
Blackadder Goes Forth (THE ultimate comedy series)
Shameless Series 1-3 are essential i think, as is The OC Season 1-3, friggin awesome programmes!
I've just bought Scrubs Series 4, the newest one, and I'm planning on buying 1-3 when i get chance, I've only just realised how good it is!
I'd love the Dawsons Creek Boxsets too.
Ahhh to lose yourself in good tv.
Lost, Cold Feet and Sex and the City are the only others which I have box sets of.
Oh how I bloody love the Vicar of Dibley!
Coupling
Peep Show
The 4400 (good, but not 'essential')
Family Guy s3
American Dad
dinnerladies
There's one for about £60, all episodes, but i'd wait a while for the full set to come out as there were 2 specials over Christmas, the last of which was the last VoD ever.
Peep Show
Sopranos
Oz season 1
Carnivale Season 2
Deadwood Season 1
Sopranos season 1
Battlestar Galatica Season 2.2
Combat Season 1
Twilight Zone Season 1
Justice League Unlimited Season 2
Futurama Season 2
I have a subscription with lovefilm, so I have loads on there too, such as Ally McBeal. The ones I will buy eventually are: Friends, Sex and the City, Vicar of Dibley and Desperate Housewives.
I already have all of Dawson's Creek and Cold Feet on dvd :hyper:
I was going to say that, but does it count as a TV boxset?
Otherwise, Band Of Brothers, whoever mentioned it before, yes it is fucking amazing!
Friends and Futurama.
If you look around you can get it dirt cheap. I saw series 1 for 19.99 and series 2 for 24.99 in virgin and HMV the other day, i got both in a box set from Silverscreen for 9.99 !
Has anyone watched Monkey Dust? I have this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Monkey-Dust-1-Simon-Greenall/dp/B0002CH914/sr=8-1/qid=1168823122/ref=pd_ka_1/202-9659730-9823802?ie=UTF8&s=dvd and would recommend it. It's very dark twisted animated comedy.
Family Guy is good too.
Brilliant
I'd love to start a Family Guy collection but I'm just too tight.
i wouldnt mind getting x-files and angel, they are pretty cheap now, but still not cheap enough for me to splash out on them
You need to pick up some OZ box sets based on that list Briggi, you'll love it if you haven't already seen it.
