Player of The year... so far

So, now that we are half way through the Premier season, who has been your player of the season... so far?

Mine = Paul Scholes

Failing that I wouldn't complain if Drigba, Ronaldo or Fabregas got it...

    Between Drogba, Ronaldo and Scholes. Probably Ronaldo.

    Plus Kevin Doyle and Vidic have had great seasons thus far.

    Vidic and Doyle have been good, no doubt.
    I'd be gutted if Ronaldo got it.
    I'd say Drogba's gonna get it.
    I would have given it to Paul Scholes but he's been missing in some games...

    Don't know, how about Gerrard?

    Apart from the two mentioned above, I can't really think of anyone else.

    Drogba or Ronaldo, no doubt about it. Honourable mentions go to Matthew Taylor, Fabrigas, David James, Kevin Doyle, Andy Johnson, Joey Barton and Kanu. Though I'm sure Bolton must have someone that would qualify the position they're in, I just haven't seen much of them this season. At the start of the season, I expected Joe Cole to put everyone to shame this year, but unfortunately his injuries have put him out for most of it. There's plenty of players that've improved loads though like Ronaldo and Drogba obviously, van Persie, Kanu, Defoe, Arteta and a few others I can't think of right now. But are we talking about player of the year, or player of the season so far?

    Vidic or Heinze I'd say. In the Premiership anyway.

    Ronaldo. He could easily be the premiership's top scorer despite being a midfielder, he's got a load of assists, and his all round play has been some of the best I've seen in the premiership for a while. It will be interesting to see if he gets player of the season if he keeps his form up. Somehow I doubt it. If he was English, the media would be hailing him as the greatest player in the world, but he's a Portugese 'winker', so he mightened even get Premiership player of the year. :rolleyes:

    Jaaskelainen, Campo, Nolan and Anelka (now he's come into form) have been decent this season.

    I'll vote for Vidic, Evra or Ronaldo from United.

    honourable mentions for Doyle, Taylor and Drogba

    essien, drogba and ronaldo i think have been the best so far.

    scholes, giggs, vidic, fabregas, doyle, shorey, james, barton and martins have been quality imo. cant think of any others right now....

    recently gerrard, gilberto and matty taylor have been in very good form.
