Up to them I guess. I support my local team and got called a glory supporter because I got asked just after we were promoted (2004) despite me being a fan since January 2002.:rolleyes:

I support United because as a kid, both my cousins had season tickets and so did one of my sisters. so i got to go to quite a lot of games. though i must admit i haven't been to old trafford for about a year due to various other factors (work and ticket prices mainly). been to watch FC United a few times this season, but again due to working most weekends, its not very practical.

for the record, bolton is approx. 8 miles from manchester, and my house is approx 2 miles from the salford border.
