    I did a medical physics course unit at university last year and learnt about scans and stuff and I have to say that those scans seem amazing!

    Hope you really enjoy it :D

    im going to get a 15minute DVD of the whole thing.
    My mum insists its a waste of money, and I think Gilles does too, but I dont care.

    apparently its 4D if you watch it all in real time.
    3D would be still pictures, but its 4D because we`re getting a DVD of it as a movie.

    That'd be so cool, it looks great :)

    I don't think it's a waste of moeny either, if it's what you want :) And imagine showing it to baby when they're older as well - I remember getting excited when mum showed me her ultrasound pictures of me, I can't imagine what I'd of been like over a DVD.

    A friend of mine went for the 3D scan, and the pictures were amazing. I don't think it's a waste of money, I'd certainly have one :D

    it was brilliant :D
    Its definitely a wee boy, we watched him yawning, crossing his legs, hiding behind his hands a lot (i had to go for a walk and eat chocolate at one point to try and get him to move his hands) It was great to be able to see his little face and hands and feet. My mum came with us too and was really excited. Ive got a load of pictures and a DVD so ill post them up in a bit. Need to resize them :)

    How cool!! It's like having a sneak preview! I've got all the scan pictures from when I was expecting my boy and he is fascinated by them, imagine what it would be like to show him the DVD!!

    Did you know it was going to be a boy before the 4D thingy or did you work that bit out yourself?

    apparently its normal for them to look a bit squashed and for their nose to look big and it doesnt mean theyre going to come out with a deformed nose, its just the way the scans work makes them look like that. ;)
