I've clearly been daydreaming a bit - but is anyone planning on going to Jake's Gig?

I have, but the idea was that I'd have enough money in my bank account after I got back to donate it. Which I didn't.

When I DO have money, I'll pay it in.

Why? Did you spend the original donations raised in the coffee bar?

    No.

I paid them into my account the day before I left. Then I came back massively overdrawn because all my outgoings had gone out and I didn't get any of my holiday pay. I currently have no job, and no money, and so I'd appreciate it therefore if you would please stop digging ;).

Err, I'm not. I just thought it was little strange how people have donated money for a charitable cause, how you've put it into your bank account and how its not being donated. You've explained yourself though. Chill :p

I should be able to donate something soon :)

I have donated as much of my money as I can afford already. I'm sorry if I got it wrong, but from the way you brought it up it looked like you were trying to make me look bad because I have no money (through no fault of my own).

We actually raised nearly £35 from donations to our pot, but like I said - I'm having a few money issues right now and the money isn't in my account to donate anymore.

But I'm going to stop turning this thread into a(nother) bitch fest now.

Nooooo, I wasn't on about YOUR money. I was on about the money donated at your college as I assumed you had it in a pot somewhere waiting to be put into Jake's fund. You got it wrong you silly billy :p

I'll do this when I remember what I've done with my bank card. Probably won't be that much though.

You've rinsed £35 off other people and used it on yourself? Tut tut.

Anyway well done on beating the target. All for a good cause an all that.

No. Like I said, I put the money into my bank account ready to donate when I got back from Kenya, but then I came back and I hadn't got paid my holiday pay. I do have money coming out of my account for other things but obviously if money keeps coming out of my account without any more going in then I end up disgustingly overdrawn with nearly £100 of charges slapped on top. So the money isn't there anymore. When I HAVE the money again I will donate it but right now I don't.

But hell, I cba arguing anymore.

Just thought we would let everyone know that Jakes memorial gig last night raised roughly £4500 for the british liver trust. About 500 people attended. The money will go directly to them so wont appear on the justgiving site.
