ive got to write an essay on the inequalties of youth today, and it was mentioned that the age of receiving benefits was risen to promote youth employment, has any one got any links or info on this thank you !

I recommend you go to the library and try to borrow a book called The Youth Labour Market in Britain by B.M. Deakin.

They are also at lower rates if you are under 25 for some of them (including Jobseekers Allowance, Income Support and Housing Benefit).
