I've probably missed something but is there anyway to post polls without looking like a forgetful fanny?

As in, can you create the poll before you post the actual thread? Instead of having to edit it in or whatever?

    I doubt it... When I post a poll I just add "Making a poll, wait" in the top of the thread and edit it out once the poll is there.

    Yep - when you are posting the thread scroll down - in the options below attachments you'll see you can click to add a poll as you put it live

    I think though that this simply posts the thread and brings you directly to the "add a poll" page, no? That way the thread still appears with no poll for a little while.
