Laptop frozen

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
Right, turned my laptop on earlier and it's stuck on the windows loading screen. The bar keeps moving but it's not getting anywhere. Been like that for about an hour. I've tried resetting it and ctrl alt delete, nothing's working. I've unplugged the battery so hopefully it'll die and i can restart.

Is there anything else i can do?

not that I can think of I'm afraid, good ol' tech support "turn it off and on again" is probably the best bet, but you're already doing that :)

so abbreviating "your" to "ur" is bad manners?

her post was easy to read, i dont see the problem to be honest

in the good manners guide it states the odd "u or 2" is fine

    she put ur

    wow

    fair enough

it`s just, i`ve seen him pull her up a couple of times, it`s almost like he`s following her posts and moaning at every opportunity

the last post i seen where he moaned at her didn`t warrant it either

You dont have to take out the Battery to reset it... just hold the power button down for 10-15 seconds and it will turn off...

yes...and....ur point is? (sorry, i just said "ur" did that get u mad?)

she TRIED to help, yeah her suggestion may not have been great, but there was NO need for you to comment on how she typed, it wasn`t even text talk!

So...if u (ooops, there i go again...) are implying that I was off topic, take a look at ur first post in here....think you`ll find that it was YOU who steered it off course
