It's funny how this thread has decended into an argument about speeding on the roads. You wouldn't find a thread about someone asking for advice on an abortion interrupted by pro-lifers telling them what a cunt they are, or similar happening in one of the many illegal drugs threads. But somehow it's acceptable for someone to stick their holier-than-thou noses into a thread asking about speed camera detectors?

Advice on abortion? It'll either be 'have one' or 'don't have one', and regardless of the beliefs of the person asking the original question, anyone who responds is entitled to their own opinion.

It'd be a damned boring place if everything stayed 100% on topic 100% of the time, would it not? Is it not better for threads to spawn into a rational debate about a very similar subject than every thread die off after a handful of posts?

Is it acceptable for you to stick your 'holier-than-thou' nose into a speeding thread(which originated as a thread about speed camera detectors), yet add nothing of any purpose, or even approaching the topic of the thread?
