It's either chippy or kebab shop. I think it's going to be kebab shop, pizza for him and pakora and salad for me
tonight i think i'm gonna attempt to make home made spag bol!
I did mushroom spaghetti bolognaise last night Vegetable gratin tonight.
Packet of chestnut mushrooms (dunno the weight, i'd estimate about 1/2 a pound) chooped into quarters
1 onion finely chopped
2 cloves garlic crushed, chooped, grated.
4 oz Arborrio (sp?) rice (those fat, round grains)
15 fl oz stock.
Good dollop of butter.
Soften garlic and onion in butter for 5 minutes then add the rice and cook for a further 2 minutes making sure all the rice is coated.
Add the stock and bring to the boil, reduce to simmer and add mushrooms. Cover and simmer gently for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. I can't be arsed doing the add a bit of water and stir till absorbed thing
Some basil or oregano can go in with the stock too if you want.
