DVD drive not refreshing

Hmmm, my DVD drive has stopped refreshing when I put in a DVD or CD. Both will work but they will not show ant software thats on a dVD, only movies and music CDs.
Not errors in event viewer either.

    Try reinstalling your driver. Also, are you sure it just isn't the DVD that you're using is the problem and not the actual drive itself?

    I've heard that can be a problem with the PSU, not sure though.
