Blind spot

I've noticed for a while that my eyesight's getting worse and I'm long overdue for an eye exam and new prescription- will get onto it this week. I just noticed that I have a blind spot in one eye!!!:shocking: Haven't googled it yet but thought I'd share my freak out with you all... If I move my head up and down in front of a page with the one eye closed, there's an (even-more) blurry spot that kinda moves with my head... *cries* what is that!!??? why?? Why me?

Its probably the same blind spot every one has where the optical nerve attaches to the back of your eye and there are no receptors. You can only 'see' it when you shut the other eye because they usually work together to compensate.
