VERY STRANGE QUESTION!!!!

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
It's come to mind that women seem to be a hell of a lot louder in bed. Why is it that females make so much noise, when enjoying themselves yet men tend to be really quiet?

anybody got any ideas?

lol, is it linked to the fact that women (generally) scream when cofronted with knife weilding maniac, car crash etc., when guys tend not to? (Man I'm gonna get flammed for being sexist... )

My boyfriend and I make the same level of noise. I think notion women screaming all the time etc is from all the movies
Everyone is different

Jonah: If you get a new wife you're gonna have sex with her?
Sam: I certainly hope so
Jonah: Will she scratch up your back?
Sam: Wha...
Jonah: In movies women are always scratching up the mans back and screaming and things when they are having sex
Sam: Where did you learn this?
Jonah: Jed's got Cable

Nope, I saw (heard) several women scream at a pretty nasty car crash. Will screaming somehow uncrash the cars?

personally i dont make much noise but when i am with a man that makes noise i love it i find it a real turn on. I love noisy men it makes me enjoy it more. where as i personally keep quiet and scratch through the enjoyment. not many men tend to make noise (so i am a little disappointed. us women fake it so why cant you?)

Interesting question. I've been in trouble before, both for making to much noise & for making a man's back bleed with my nails. I couldn't tell you why I do it tho - it's not something I have any control over & I don't even realise I'm doing it at the time. I find I can't really let go and enjoy myself if I know I have to be quiet.
That doesn't really answer the question does it? Sorry
I have known men to be noisy in bed too but it generally tends to be at the crucial moment.

I think at the back of our minds we are a little worried if the girl is quiet that we are doing something wrong-although if you shagging in her parents house its to be expected

biologically impossible. how the hell could a man fake an errection or fake ejaculating???

By the way, you girls arnt as good as you think you are at faking it. It's just SOME guys are only interested in themselves and dont care how it feels for you aslong as you SOUND like you're enjoying it.

Having said that, no woman has ever had to fake it when im around so who knows...lol

*mancmanomyst sounds slightly less impressive when you know he has kept to only one sexual partner*

It's possible to fake, you just need to time it right and make sure the girl in question is being *ahem* -- "distracted"

I'm with you tho.. the more noise the better and the more I enjoy it

we can only fake it to a certain extent though. we have to be aroused a little. women can fake the whole thing if the man doesnt know what signs he should be looking for, like hardened nipples, body movement, breathing, looks in her eyes, etc

Personally I don't bother to fake it. I figure if the guy's doing something wrong, let him know it or he'll only do it again!

I'm sure you said earlier that it is biologically impossible for a man to fake erection and/or orgasm, yet here you say you can fake it to a certain extent, which is it?

It is easy for a man to fake orgasm actually. If the woman is fairly wet and the man pulsates his penis it can feel like he is 'cumming'. If he's been having sex and ejaculating regularly, there isn't always much ejaculate present. Unless the woman gathers some of the wetness and sniffs it (eeewwww) she'd not be able to tell.

The same applies to women. It is oh so easy to fool men. All you have to do is make a bit of noise and contract your vagina. You can widen your eyes, look dreamy, breathe heavily and rub your own nipples to get them hard. I used to do this some of the time with my previous partner, but luckily I now have a man who knows what he is doing and wouldn't die of shame if I didn't 'cum', so I no longer need to bolster a fragile ego.

back to the original question: Maybe women make more noise b/c it is more socially acceptable. Society in general labels the sexual noises of women to be a bit more graceful just like the curves of their body for they are goddesses. Maybe this gives them the confidence to make more noise. I'm not saying guys making a little noise is bad, just not as beautiful.
