yes,in the newspapers, those guys cleared of planning terroist acts by a jury, have now been put under a control order/house arrest restricting their movements

so secret trials and evidence really are what seperates us from the nastier places of the world i think notThe Government has not heeded repeated warnings that control orders involve secret courts and secret evidence that are not compatible with the right to a fair trial.

Not really. Completely innocent people aren't even allowed to take photos of various types of building these days, because everyone's so paranoid. (And by not allowed, I mean that rent-a-cop security guards stop them)
like it or not, if they got cleared of anything by their peers, the government shouldnt be able to overrule the decision
