    There are things you can get off your GP before you get as far as Accutane, in fact you will have to try other things from your GP before you get a dermotologist referral as they are the people who prescribe Accutane.

    Have you tried Quinoderm? It's a cream availiable from pharmacys.

    yea but do any of these creams actually work? if they do then why dont clearasil brand them?

    The ones you get from your GP are prescription, thats why clearasil don't brand them. Quinoderm is a benzyl peroxide one, that's quite strong.

    Clearasil are interested in the mass market not the specialist narrow end. It is worth bearing in mind that nothing is going to give you perfect skin, just get you reasonable skin.

    Wasn't there even a survey done where people got even more spots using clearasel? Apparently a cream called freederm is good. The DR do prescribe a anti inflammatory which is the same thing really as freederm.
