    Spray deordant? Thats different.

And I'm with you, why do people, men and women alike, marinate in their fake smells. Its rare you find somebody that only puts a decent amount on, everybody is out to murder.

I don't like Lynx on a man, personally. It smells so generic - I like my men smelling expensive :p

Linx is the stuff you used to wear when you were about 10 and didn't really need it, but thought you were all grown up wearing it. I'd never touch the stuff now, it smells like shit imo. The only way to make it extinct is for girls to refuse to sleep with anyone wearing it. Give it six months and they'll be bankrupt.

I think lynx smells quite nice, as long as blokes don't cover every square inch of themselves in it (this goes for anything though), and they realise that it is NOT a substitute for washing.

nmm wears the africa one sometimes, but only a little bit and it smells really nice, but usually people go OTT with it and ANYTHING smells bad when youre marinated in it.

The only ever good lynx was Africa. The rest are shit or just ok. If I'm in a hurry I'll spray a bit of lynx on before I leave the house. Wouldn't use it for a night out though.

If I've been working for several hours stacking shelves or something like that on a hot day and my armpits start to smell, I'll go into our store rooms and use some Lynx. Otherwise, I barely touch the stuff.

Lynx is poor, but I am partial to the Physio Sport yellow.

Sio long as people don't think its a substitute for a shower, its alright.

I can't wear it - it eats the skin off my armpits. Though I do have a can or two to freshen up my clothes when I've been sweaty/in the pub :).

ETA - tend to use Gillette 'wild rain' :).

I used to know a girl who did that. She then tried spraying loads on me. I got a very strange look off her when I told her that I didn't like the smell of it.

So it is in fact a deordant? That sprays? After reading this I thought it was just a cologne thing with the word deordant accidently put in the title. I'm so confused :(

I think it's called Axe abroad, if that rings any bells?

Lynx is a deodorant, not an anti-perspirant.

It stops you smelling, but doesn't stop you sweating.

Oh god that brings a whole new meaning :yuck:
I don't think I've ever actually smelled it on anybody (my nose is thankfull) though I see the commercials all the time, they go throw half the can all over themselves.

Its like they're promoting not bathing and you'll get the girls to the ackward zitty nerds. :( At least they make a soap too.

The commercial alone almost makes me want to throw up.

Yep, pretty much the same here. I thought you had it over there. I saw some guy using it in the Ciara music video.

You can can get Lynx anti-perspirant.

As for Lynx deodorant, I don't think it's too bad. I wear it for work, but I wouldn't wear it for a night out.

Speaking of smells, I had a short convo with someone not so long ago....

Me: You got Deep Heat on?
Him: Yeah, done my back in (argg).
Me: You ain't gonna pull smelling like that.
Him: It's actually Deep Heat deodorant.
Me: WTF?! Why would ANYONE use Deep Heat deodorant (if there was such a thing)
Him: Nah, only joking, it's Brute.
    Me: Class.

Some lynx are ok, my biggest problem is people who don't know when to stop putting it on. Same goes for women and perfume.

You can't just have a shower any time you feel like it though.

It's quite a coincidence this thread was posted.... about an hour ago the dog wouldn't stop growling. There was three teenage boys outside (I say 'teenage' - between 11-13) and they were kicking a ball, but they'd kicked it in our garden. I went out to get it, and one came lolloping over to the fence...

As I gave it him, I thought I was going to choke. I recognise the smell, it was Lynx, for defnete.

But EURGH, you'd of thought he'd had a wash in a bath of Lynx instead of water! He was just like a big walking SMELL!
