Only asking because if I was to phone them up/write to them, I think I might be wasting my time, anyway:
Currently, I've just finished school and really need somethign to do, as I'm off until the beginning of September. About a month ago, I wrote a letter to a company asking if it would be possible to get a work placement. I never got a reply. Phoned them up this morning and they told me that they'd only take me on if I applied through school (as work experince) which I can't do for obvious reasons. I have thought about applying for work at other places, but if they're all like this I don't think I'm going to bother.
