Pubs vs nightclubs - what do you prefer?

    Pubs are good for going to watch football or for a social drink with friends.

    I used to drink in pubs before going clubbing but these days I'm so poor that I usually end up drinking at a mate's flat beforehand and then heading straight to the club after midnight.

    I avoid weekend drinking these days as well, as everywhere is just so damn packed, and full of 'worky' crowds. Everywhere tends to bump up prices as well.

    I'm off to plan my Tuesday night out.

    I could tell you about a million stories from great nights out at clubs, but I'd really struggle to get a lot of good stories from nights when I just sat in the pub all night.

    Its funny really, i'm actually rather the opposite...i could tell you a million stories from great night outs at pubs with my mates and/or girls, but i can't think of a single time i've enjoyed being at a nightclub.

    I prefer to just go to the bars now, although don't get me wrong I love clubbing, but I'm just getting a bit bored of it now...I think I'm getting old!

    It depends what music is playing, I'm a little fussy. They would have to be playing either Atmos DnB/Trip-Hop or Progressive House. I prefer a decent lounge bar though.

    Depends who I'm with, and what mood I'm in. But generally clubs, parties or raves are more fun.

    This is the way ahead.

    You can get conversation out of the way in the pub, chatting shit and whatever, then when the pubs shut you can go and do all the random shit that you do in nightclubs.

    Has to be a decent nightclub though, nothing worse than a half empty one or one that just plays shit music.

    Pubs all the way, cant stand nightclubs anymore.
